How do you make sure the bathroom doesn't leak?
A tested waterproofing membrane goes behind every shower and tub, inspected before tile goes on top of it, not after. It's the one step in a bathroom remodel that is never worth rushing, and we don't.
Can we keep the same footprint to save money?
Often, yes. Keeping the plumbing where it is saves the cost of running new lines, though the plumbing and usually the electrical are brought up to current code either way. We will tell you honestly when moving a wall is worth the cost and when it is not.
How long will we be without a working bathroom?
If it is your only bathroom, we plan the sequence so the shower and toilet come back as early as the work allows without skipping a step, and we give you the real number at your free 3D design consultation.
